TrueNotch Pro™ is designed to support organized, responsible contractor communication. It does not make a contractor, workforce member, service provider, or business compliant by itself. Compliance is the ongoing responsibility of each business and user.
1. Contractor client responsibility
Contractor clients are responsible for:
- Business registration
- Local licensing
- Trade licensing
- Permits
- Insurance
- Bonding, if required
- Tax compliance
- Worker classification
- Customer contracts
- Safety rules
- Consumer protection laws
- Estimate and invoice rules
- Data privacy obligations
- Communication and consent rules
2. Authorized workforce responsibility
Authorized workforce members are responsible for:
- Following contractor client instructions
- Accurately entering customer information
- Not making unauthorized promises
- Not providing legal, pricing, licensing, or trade advice unless authorized
- Following approved requirements for urgent situations
- Respecting privacy and confidentiality
- Using the app only for authorized business purposes
See Agent Standards.
3. Customer communication compliance
TrueNotch Pro™ does not currently send SMS, automated calls, robocalls, marketing messages, or recorded calls. If these features are added later, additional consent, opt-in, opt-out, retention, and communication compliance controls will be required.
4. Call recording
Call recording is not enabled. Before call recording is enabled, the app will require additional consent notices and compliance review because call recording laws vary by location.
5. SMS and phone integrations
SMS, Twilio, OpenPhone, GoHighLevel, and other phone-provider integrations are not enabled.
6. Payments
Payment processing and subscription billing are not enabled.
7. Data privacy support
TrueNotch Pro™ includes:
- Privacy Policy
- Terms of Use
- Data Rights page
- Role-based access
- Contractor client visibility rules
- Agent and manager access separation
- Data request language
8. Not legal advice
This page is informational only and is not legal advice. Each business should consult qualified counsel for compliance questions specific to its trade, location, and customers.
