Responsibilities for contractor clients using TrueNotch Pro™.

Effective Date: June 29, 2026 · Last Updated: June 29, 2026 · Policy v1.0 · Terms v1.0

Beta: TrueNotch Pro™ is currently in beta. Some features may be tested with demo data before public launch. Payment processing, SMS messaging, call recording, automated dialing, and third-party phone integrations are not enabled.

This page is provided for transparency. Final legal terms should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before public launch.

Contractor client responsibilities

Contractor clients are solely responsible for:

  • Their own customers, services, pricing, estimates, and contracts.
  • Business licensing, insurance, permits, and taxes.
  • Work quality, warranties, and customer agreements.
  • Honoring their customers' communication preferences (call, text, email).
  • Providing accurate intake instructions, service area, and availability information.
  • Only uploading or providing data they have permission to use.

Role of TrueNotch Pro™

TrueNotch Pro™ supports organized customer communication and contractor business continuity. It is not a party to any contractor-customer agreement and does not perform the underlying contracted work.

Data separation

Each contractor client's customer data is separated from other contractor clients. Access is limited to authorized users for approved support and oversight purposes.

Data ownership

Contractor clients retain ownership of their customer records. TrueNotch Pro™ acts as a service provider/processor of that data under these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Termination

On termination, contractor clients may request export of their data subject to reasonable timing, identity verification, and applicable legal or backup retention.

Not legal advice. The current release template language should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before public launch or pilot use.
