Before the Consequence™
The prevention pathway inside Choice Labz™. Students in grades 6 to 12 practice the moment before a consequential choice, while backing out is still possible.
Impact, then the next choice
Consequence is where the learning starts. Students see impact, reflect, consider repair, and then face a new decision with what they just learned.
Learning insight, not surveillance
Educators see how a group is reasoning. There are no risk scores, no predictive labels, and nothing built to serve as discipline evidence.
Who it serves
Schools and districts, youth-serving agencies, mentoring and diversion programs, and community organizations working with students in grades 6 to 12. Implementations are arranged with the organization, not sold to individual students.
Where it sits in Choice Labz™
Before the Consequence™ is the prevention half of the Choice Labz™ Youth Continuum. After the Consequence™ picks up when something has already happened, covering accountability, impact, support, repair, and re-entry. Organizations can implement either pathway or both.
Privacy posture
Choice Labz™ collects only what an implementation requires. Student reflection is treated as learning practice, not as a record about a child, and it is not designed or offered as evidence in a disciplinary or legal process.
Implementation and licensing
Before the Consequence™ is offered through organizational licensing with a written scope, onboarding for the adults who will run it, and configuration that matches your setting. Terms are quoted per organization.
